Ava Mae Ewing was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer  10/5/2011.  It is a rather rare cancer that is within the 6% of children's cancer.  She was stage 4 at the age of 3 when she was diagnosed  and she just had her 4th birthday.  We were never so happy to see that birthday.

She starts bone marrow transfusion in the next week or so and will be in Phoenix Children's Hospital for 1 month.

This is my new 9'6" Pintail:  9'6"x 23 1/2 x 2 3/4 and 26 lbs.  Made from Cedar and Paulownia, glossed and polished with a nice black resin pin line.

Florida State Park and a quick Surf...

Hurricane Igor did not cooperate with northeast Florida, so we did not have an opportunity to get any new footage. But
this past weekend we hit up one of the many lovely State Parks with the longboard and the twin fin, found some little sliders and snapped a few shots with some black and white film.......
